The End of the Knight Update

Alright lads and lasses. Finally another update, and one I have been excited to get out for some time. I am calling it “The End of the Knight” update. Without further adieu, allow me to explain.

I got some new art assets, and now the Antifordian Soldiers (who looked a bit too medieval for me)  now look closer to canon soldiers in Antiford. In honor of the new art assets that spread across the game I added an entirely new side quest! This side-quest is activated in White Haven in the Technocratic Tower (the government building there). In one of the offices you’ll meet a Major who is having some issues, and you are just the Zoo Employee to get the job done. Head out to an abandoned fort to track down a traitor. This quest also helps us utilize a battler that Eric Worthen made for me eons ago that never felt right forcing into the game.

I also worked hard to get more cameos from the website Citizens of Antiford. Be on the lookout for them. Other changes are listed below. Some overhauling with how the game handled riding trains as well as some minor bug fixes and spelling errors.

Patch Notes:

  • Antiford "Soldier" Sprites have been updated with new Art Assets.
  • New Sidequest in White Haven Featuring new location and enemy to battle.
  • An Easter Egg has been turned up to Eleven.
  • Added cameos from Citizens of Antiford Website.
    • Maisy-Maude waits to shine in Titania in the Hoganmar Mountain Range
    • Ely O'Gragg searches Astam Junction for the perfect spot to open a coffee shop
  • Changed how the Diving Suit Upgrades work (As purchased upgrades were not going into affect no matter what I did.)
  • Added a Vibranni to Vibranni village who made reference to actual tribe name to reflect updates on website.
  • Placeholder fish now appears in Zoo when given to First Mate Zeke. Will remain there until Aquarium is released with Titania expansion.
  • Placeholders added to assist with expansions in Astam, Gearford Zoo, Hoganmar Mountain Range

  • Changed the way the game handled Train Rides. Transitions should now be smoother and cleaner without graphical glitches and doing more train rides/ transitions should be easier in the future should I have need for more expansions.
  • Minor Typos
  • Minor Bug Fixes
  • Blocked many "walk on walls" problems
  • Changed how the Flamethrower Weapon works (as it was too weak) and added some special abilities to the weapon.
  • Tweaked the damage vulnerability of some enemies to all fire-based attacks.

And with this, it is also the end in another way. Unless more massive, game-breaking bugs are found and reported this should be the last update for some time.  I am stopping the tweaking, art requesting, and new content making for this for a little while. Taking a real break I was supposed to take when the game was released.

Please, continue to leave feedback and ratings and bug reports and etc.

What is in the Future?

- I will now turn my eye to trying to get a completed Walkthrough for the game finished and available as soon as possible. I shall also be attempting to make a Trailer for the game as well as some video walkthroughs.

-After all the positive feedback and all the downloads and thanks to many donations, sometime in the future I will be making a large expansion. The Titania Expansion has no date currently, but it will expand the end game into the country of Titania to the North and include many, many more Zoo animals, story, and sidequests.  However I don't want to Hype it up too much.  Updates will be posted as time goes, but a good rest is in order.
