Expresso Update: Change Log
Hello Hello!
This is a changelog for the newest update to Wild Araz! I'm calling it the "Expresso Update" because of three reasons.
1) The new location and character from the Citizens of Antiford website.
2) The changes to certain areas and main quest segments to make the game easier and quicker to get through.
3) The changes to the enviornment and weapons to help add energy to the game.
Changelog
- Several typos and mispellings fixed
- Attempt to fix misgendered situations. Developer still needs help tracking down every instance of these.
- Goblins in Goblin caves fixed to spawn before Cage 3 obtained to make Goblin Experts Quest of "Kill 5 Goblins" much easier.
- Astam Junction- Coffee House added for Ely Ograg.
- Coffee based items added to relevant shops
- Rat Hater in Mayberry district now correctly gives out reward every 50 rats instead of every 100 rats
- Dig Spots now activate when shovel is in inventory, NOT just when shovel is equipped, to reduce tedium of dig spots
- Please notify immediately if dig spots are found that still require equipped instead of just in inventory

- Breakable rocks now activate when pick axe is in inventory, NOT just when pick axe is equipped. This will reduce tedium of breaking rocks and the Sorditudo mines area.
- Please notify immediately if rocks are found that still require equipped instead of just in inventory
- PLEASE NOTE: This is only for breakable rocks (usually blocking paths) and NOT for Mining Spots. Mining Spots will still need to have a Pick Axe equipped until it can be adjusted later on.
- A few hidden barrel-chests added to help distribute more healing items in various areas of the game.
- Player "home" in Zoo Basement now changes over time to give sense of progress.
- Example: Upgrading bed to reflect Main Quest progress. Adding items to reflect achievements and zoo completion
- NPCs added to help direct players in various directions
- Example: Woman added to Saks district to help direct players to Travel Journal
- NPCs added to zoo to better show Zoo progress.
- Attempted to add additional "interaction" to objects to further encourage exploration.
- Has hopefully side effects of making progression easier as well.
- Many WEAPONS changed to better reflect intent of their use.
- Example: Shotguns and melee weapons now hit easier while making you easier to hit, too.
- Example: Pistols and Rifles make you harder to hit, but you will also have a chance of missing.
I hope you enjoy, boys and girls. The reception of Wild Araz, even after the years since release, is absolutely heart warming. Thank you all so much. I hopeI continue to work to make this a game people adore and can earn the praise.
Please remember, if you haven't already, rate the game! Good or bad, be honest, but rate it. We've had such good reviews so far, but we have so few the game isn't reaching a larger audience.

Can I take this time to thank someone: Samuel Sarette of the Citizens of Antiford. He takes time each and every time there's an update to this game to make sure the installers all work soundly, set it all up, and to make sure there are clean versions on Mac and Linux. I thank him very much for still being willing and eager to help me out even after all these years of release for the game. He is truly the final touch that ensures the magic can continue to be updated.
Do be sure to share some love to him on the other projects on Citizens of Antiford as he is by far the reason they even have a 'gaming library'.
